Our Beliefs
We believe in the doctrine of the Trinity, meaning that there is one true God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God created and governs all.
We believe in the Holy Bible as the infallible and unchanging Word of God.
We believe God sent His only begotten son, Jesus Christ, conceived by the Holy Spirit in the virgin birth. We believe Jesus lived a sinless life in his earthly ministry and performed miracles. We regard his biblical teachings as truth. We believe that He endured death through the crucifixion on the cross, was buried, raised from the dead, ascended into heaven, and is sitting at the right hand of God.
We believe that salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord, whose precious blood was shed on Calvary for the forgiveness of our sins. All the redeemed, once saved, are kept by God's power and are thus secure in Christ forever. We believe that it is the privilege of Believers to rejoice in the assurance of their salvation through the testimony of Godʼs Word which clearly forbids the use of Christian liberty as an occasion to the flesh.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, "When he comes, he will convict the world of its sin, and of God's righteousness, and of the coming Judgement." (John 16:8) We believe the Holy Spirit is our helper, comforter, and teacher.
The Holy Spirit empowers believers for ministry for all who believe in Jesus Christ. We believe the Holy Spirit dwells inside every Believer at the time of salvation and seals the Believer until the day of redemption.
We believe that God uniquely and immutably creates each person as male or female. These two distinct, complementary sexes together reflect the image and nature of God. Rejection of one’s biological sex is a rejection of the image of God within that person. We believe that marriage is God ordained to be a union between one man and one woman only.
